Few Nineties debuts remain as sinisterly stoned-out and sick as hell as Downs ground-and-bongwater-rumbling NOLA. The sum of the sludge supergroups parts was impressive enough as it is comprising members of Pantera, Corrosion of Conformity, Eyehategod and Crowbar but Down quickly made a name for themselves through this 13-song set of sweet-leaf-stained grooves and metallically bleary-eyed bar boogies.
