Within two years of their 2010 debut, Ghost went from the buzziest and most mysterious band in metal to one of the genres premier acts. Infestissiumam (Latin for very or most hostile) landed them on the then-new Loma Vista Recordings label, which was an imprint of Universal Music Groups Republic Records, thus making it the Swedish satanists major-label debut.
