Released in 1992, White Trash marked a major transition point for NOFX. Most notably, its their first album to feature guitarist El Hefe whose arrival locked the acts classic lineup in place until their 2024 breakup. While often thought of as perma-prankin punkers, the bands fourth full-length excels in tonal and sonic whiplash, vaulting itself from liquid-metal riffage and heart-aching melodic hardcore, towards satirically upbeat ska and a mock-jazz anti-tribute to straight-edge icons Minor Threat. More than 30 years later, theres still plenty of treasure to find in NOFXs Trash.
