KILLER BE KILLED

With their surprise second album, Reluctant Hero, Killer Be Killed a.k.a. Max Cavalera, Greg Puciato, Troy Sanders and Ben Koller have traded supergroup status for teenage enthusiasm. I think it works because we are all fans of each other, but without the ego part, without the Im the shit part, says Cavalera. I remember when we started recording, I said something like, Were gonna bring our A game to this B movie! But Reluctant Hero is hardly a B movie: The first Killer Be Killed record was really exciting, but I think this one tops it, he says. It feels more like a real group.
