The 1976 films Oscar-winning soundtrack, composed by Jerry Goldsmith, centers haunting choral sounds that feature Latin recitations of the phrase, “we drink the blood, we eat the flesh, raise the body of Satan. Even Faith No More/Mr. Bungle singer Mike Patton agrees its positively chilling score made the movie. If you watch the film with the sound muted, you will see what I mean.
