Wavves! The rock & roll shapeshifters ride a new creative wave.

For nearly two decades, Wavves have resisted easy definition. Surf rock, pop-punk, lo-fi, noise pop and garage rock have all surged through the bands music, but its unmistakable identity comes from the restless creativity of singer-songwriter and frontman Nathan Williams.

From early DIY 7-inches and Wavves self-titled 2008 debut to 10 full-length albums, three 2025 EPs and the upcoming Cherry Soda collaboration with Say Anything guitarist Max Bemis, Williams has continually pushed Wavves into new territory. Now, hes looking back on that journey while entering one of the most creatively energized and personally grounded periods of his career.
